I am many things. Man. Husband. Friend. I am also an educator, screenwriter, filmmaker, playwright, author,  and historian. No single label defines me. No single word or status creates me. A fascination with stories began when my father gave me an origin story of mythical proportions. Love of writing followed when I committed that yarn to paper. An interest in history began when my father’s tale created a curiosity to seek the truth. My passion as an educator came when I realized that simple story shaped my future and that I did the same through my students.
